Hackers Group Called "Lulz Security" Broke into Sony Corp's Computer Network Fifth Time

TOKYO (June 7) – Hackers broke into the safety walls of Sony Crop’s computer network for the fifth time on Monday, posting network plans and code allegedly from the company's developer network and music entertainment groups.

Reportedly, the group of hackers calling itself "Lulz Security" invaded Sony Corp fifth time since the Japanese electronic giant has sued software wizard George Hotz for publishing a program that allowed customers to alter their PlayStation 3 video game consoles.

Lulz Security has also claimed responsibility for attacks on public broadcaster PBS and an affiliate of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Hackers group ‘Lulz Security’ is not the only one that attacked; but in April a group named ‘Anonymous’, who were protesting the lawsuit against Hotz, also attacked Sony. No comments came from Sony Corp on this latest expedition by Lulz Security. 

Later, a sophisticated cyber attack hit Sony Corp again that compromised the names, addresses and other personal information of more than 100 million users of its PlayStation Network and Sony Online Entertainment video game networks.
